The English Department Open Mic was established by Donna Potts at Café Moro in downtown Pullman in 2014 and has been co-hosted by Linda Russo, continuing to meet there until the lockdown in the spring of 2020. In 2021, Open Mic went live again in the Bundy Reading Room and Jada Rome stepped into the role of MC in 2022. Our next chapter in collaboration with Brused Books opened in Fall of 2023. In January, we take part in Writers Give Voice, an open mic for the National Day of Racial Healing, presented in collaboration with the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art.
