Congratulations to ESQ authors Erin Forbes and John Hay!

Forbes’ essay, “Do Black Ghosts Matter?: Harriet Jacobs’ Spiritualism,” from ESQ 62.3 was awarded the 1921 Prize in American Literature in the untenured category from the American Literature Society. Find out more here.
